Church of St Antony Abbot
Small church built in 1665 in the town of Scheggia, with the money the alms of the faithful. These with the permission of the bishop of the collections were annual maintenance of the furniture. The practice continued until 1824, the date from which a slow deterioration of the building and furnishings contained therein. In 1843 the people of the village, seeing the signs of deterioration, collected a large sum of money to repair the damage done by time. Recently the building has been another important restoration based on the initiative the people of the village. Inside, the church contains an image of the Virgin Mary and Child, St. John the Evangelist and St. Anthony of Padua attributed all'Allegrini and venerated above the altar.
